Golf Buggy / Cart Insurance
At Golfplan we make insuring your buggy very easy. In addition to golf equipment all Golfplan policies can provide essential protection for your buggy against theft, loss, vandalism or accidental damage during use, whilst stored at a golf venue or in your garage and during carriage to and from the golfing venue. Cover also includes public liability protection against killing or injuring a fellow golfer. Within all Golfplan policies golf buggies are treated as golf equipment which means your buggy is protected 24-hours a day, including 120 days overseas cover. All we ask you to do is ensure that your buggy is individually secured to a fixed object when stored at a golfing venue or in your garage. Also during carriage to and from a golfing venue your buggy must be secured to the trailer.
New For Old Cover
As per our golf equipment cover, in the event of theft we will replace it with a brand new golf buggy of similar make and model regardless of the age of your buggy at that time. In the event of vandalism or accidental damage we will pay the cost of repair or if beyond repair, replace it with a brand new golf buggy of similar make and model. Cover excludes wear and tear, mechanical parts breaking down or failing and the first £100 of each and every claim.
Indemnity (Second Hand) Cover
As per our golf equipment cover, in the event of theft we will replace your buggy with a second hand golf buggy. In the case of vandalism or accidental damage we will pay the cost of repair or if beyond repair, replace it with a second hand golf buggy. Cover excludes wear and tear, mechanical parts breaking down or failing and the first £100 of each and every claim. All our indemnity policies include the full policy benefits including public liability, but equipment and buggies are insured for loss subject to depreciation.
Public Liability
Public Liability cover provides protection against killing or injuring someone or damaging third party property at a golfing venue.
Note: Public Liability does not extend to use of a buggy / cart on a public highway or public footpath. Public Liability cover is available within both our New for Old and Indemnity (Second Hand) policies.
