16 April 2018

John Rahm’s rise to PGA stardom continues after a big win at his home event the Open de Espana yesterday. After his good showing at the Masters, Rham again showed his class with an impressive final round of 67 (-5) closing the tournament with an impressive -20 total for the four rounds.

This was enough to clinch his first Spanish Open title by two shots from Dunne and Elvira who fell away in the final round, both carding a final round of 71. Rahm now adds his name to the illustrious previous Spanish winners, including such greats as Seve Ballesteros, Sergio Garcia and Miguel Angel Jimenez.
